Camelia Benavides, Co-owner and Director

 

Camelia Benavides is a Texas State certified teacher with 15 years of experience. She is certified in Special Education, Regular Education, Bilingual Education and with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education.  She was nominated for the Golden Apple Award in 1996 and 2002. She was also distinguished with the Teacher of the Year award at Trautmann Elementary in the year of 1995. She won the Bilingual Teacher of the Year in 2007. She also participated in the following committees:  Interviewing Committee 1998, Site Based Decision Committee in 2003, Chair Person of Math Committee in 2003 and 2007, Mentor Teacher in 2001, Rising Star Committee in 2001, Team Leader in 1999, 2001 and 2004, President of the Parent Teacher Committee in 2001, Treasurer in 1997 and Vice President in 1996 and Student Inclusion Teacher from 1999 thru 2007.

 

In addition, our director has an Associates Degree in Applied Science, an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelors degree in Accounting and was distinguished with the Accounting Excellence Award at Laredo State University where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude. She also has experience in the business area.

 

 

Fidencio Benavides, Co-owner and President

 

Fidencio Benavides has an associates degree in Applied Science and a Bachelors in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. He has 20 years of experience in the business sector in the Information Technology Systems. He is in charge of our center's technology. His experience will help to give our center an edge in the latest Technology and Software that will help both the educational and operational daily activities.
